I have always found the sound of water so soothing to the soul. Whether it’s waterfalls, a gentle stream, or waves crashing on the shore. Mother Nature just has a way of making things better and restoring calmness and balance.
Another method I have found to bring balance is being grateful for all the good things in my life and the world. Some people use gratitude journals or even stacked rocks (called cairns) to project their prayers of gratitude physically. I have even used sticky notes to write my gratitude lists on and place them throughout my home.
If you can’t get out in nature, there are many great videos and audio water sounds you can listen to online or even get from your library. Here is one I like.
